We are seeking an Oracle HCM Fast Formula Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position will be part of the post-implementation team, supporting Oracle Cloud HCM Fast Formulas within the HR Technology group. The role involves working with all HCM modules, with a focus on Core, Payroll, and Compensation in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will work with both technical and non-technical teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Fast Formulas within Oracle Cloud HCM to support complex business rules across modules such as Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, and Compensation.
- Create, test, and modify Fast Formulas from scratch.
- Develop and enforce governance for Oracle HCM Cloud solution fast formulas based on Human Resources business needs.
- Build, engineer, and support the Fast Formula for the Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud solution.
- Provide production support for implemented functionality and troubleshoot/debug fast formula issues.
- Create technical specification documentation and comprehensive unit test plans.
- Enable HR functions to optimize business outcomes by acting as a liaison between the business and IT.
- Participate in the review of new functionality for each system release, including testing and implementation.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, or a related field with 5 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of related experience will be considered.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of current Oracle HCM Cloud Fast Formula Development experience, with a background in implementing and enhancing Oracle Cloud HCM (Core, Payroll, and/or Compensation).
Technical Skills:- Proficiency with Oracle HCM, including Core and Compensation modules.
- Experience with Redwood.
- Strong understanding of core HR processes related to absence, payroll, compensation, talent management, recruiting, and compliance.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM table structures and Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP).
- Understanding of concepts such as element configuration, voluntary deductions, retro, arrears, accruals, work schedules, plan enrollment, and benefits coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the utility industry.
- Hands-on technical experience with Oracle Benefits and Absence Management.
- Demonstrated ability in supporting the entire software development life cycle.
Work Environment
This role requires the ability and willingness to work flexible hours and be available for call-in and after-hours support as needed. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S., as visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future. The position is 100% remote, but candidates must reside in one of the following states: OH, WV, MD, NJ, or PA.
