Job DescriptionThis role requires
approximately 75% nationwide travel, with the remaining
25% supporting operations in the technician's home market.
We are assembling a specialized
Tiger Team of Level 2 Data Center Technicians to support the
Hi-Fiber initiative, a large-scale program focused on upgrading data center infrastructure by replacing legacy coax cabling with fiber-optic technology across multiple Google data center locations.
Technicians on this team will be
first on site at new data center locations, where they will help establish workflows, installation standards, and operating procedures during the initial
6-8 weeks of each deployment. Once the project is stabilized and transitioned to long-term support teams, the Tiger Team will move on to launch the next site.
During gaps between deployments, technicians will provide hands-on support within Google data centers located in their home markets. This position is ideal for
experienced data center technicians who can contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up. As projects mature, entry-level cabling staff will be added for long-term execution.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
