North Point Technology is looking to hire a Systems Engineer - IT with a DevOps background to support a High Performance Computing Multi-Level Secure enterprise program. This role focuses on initial deployment and ongoing site support for secure, large-scale infrastructure environments. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required to start.
Responsibilities:In this role, you will support the deployment and integration of secure enterprise infrastructure across multiple sites, developing and maintaining DevOps automation processes and configuration management solutions in Unix/Linux environments, scripting workflows, managing revision control systems, and coordinating initial site standup activities for complex HPC and multi-level secure deployments.
Required Skills/Experience:- Linux system administration and engineering in secure environments
- Scripting and software development using Python, Perl, Korn shell, Bourne/Bash, and Ansible
- Revision control systems including CVS, SVN, Git, and GitLab (including GitLab CI)
- Development and management of DevOps deployment automation processes
- Configuration management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:- Experience supporting HPC or multi-level secure enterprise environments
- Familiarity with SELinux hardening and security configurations
Qualifications:- Security+ Certification
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required to start
