Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong Node.js skills to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building high-performance applications, integrating services, and working in cloud-based, microservices-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js

• Build and consume RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs

• Develop scalable, high-availability microservices and serverless applications

• Integrate backend services with databases, third-party APIs, and frontend applications

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams

• Follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI preferred)

• Solid experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks)

• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs

• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming

• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

• Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT)

• Basic frontend knowledge (React, Angular, or Vue) is a plus
