This role is responsible for commissioning, integrating, troubleshooting, and optimizing
Ericsson-based network elements in a dynamic field environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive high-quality network activations with minimal oversight.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper operation and performance of a broad set of wireless network elements across assigned sites.
Support the commissioning, integration, and activation of new cell sites, network hardware, and associated interconnect facilities.
Conduct site acceptance, testing, and coverage analysis to ensure optimal RF performance and network quality.
Perform network troubleshooting, fault isolation, and vendor coordination (primarily
Ericsson).
Update daily site logs, maintain accurate documentation, and generate clear and concise system reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Local, Regional, Area, Corporate) to meet deployment timelines and compliance requirements.
Execute activation tasks as required by regulatory guidelines or internal engineering standards.
I. Market Split
Baseband (BB) Integrations and Migrations:
o Perform on-site or Base Station Office (BSO) BB migration by a technician.
o Execute post-scripting.
o Verify traffic and conduct speed tests.
II. Environmental Alarming
Westell Support:
o Integrate and provide alarming support for Westell systems.
o Verify all external alarms (e.g., power plant, batteries, generator) are correctly implemented on site; add missing alarms as required.
III. 2026 Program of Record (POR)
New Builds (Start-to-Finish):
o Complete router scripting.
o Perform BB integrations.
o Conduct call testing and alarm testing.
C-Band Modifications:
o Execute post-scripting.
o Conduct call testing and on-site speed testing.
Bandwidth Upgrades:
o Re-script the Customer Service Router (CSR).
o Verify bandwidth changes.
o Test the site and surrounding area
