Job Title: Security Administrator
Location: Brookhaven, GA
This role is primarily on-site. Limited flexibility may be available, but regular in-person presence is required.
Experience: 4-6 years of experience is desired
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly capable and self-directed Security Administrator to help protect, design, and evolve our security posture across cloud, network, and endpoint environments. This role is hands-on and strategic, requiring both deep technical skill and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating independently, takes ownership of security outcomes, and applies best-practice architecture principles across cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and optimize security platforms including:
Microsoft Azure security services
CrowdStrike
Secureworks/Sophos
Mimecast
Design, implement, and maintain security best practices across:
Cloud infrastructure
Network environments
Endpoint and identity platforms
Partner with cloud and network engineering teams to ensure secure architecture and configuration standards
Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and lead response efforts as needed
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation planning
Contribute to security policies, standards, and documentation
Provide guidance and recommendations on security improvements and architectural decisions
Communicate security risks and findings clearly to leadership and technical teams
Support audits, compliance initiatives, and third-party security assessments
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Security Administrator, Security Engineer, or similar role Strong hands-on experience with:
Solid understanding of:
Cloud engineering concepts
Network engineering fundamentals
Security architecture and best practices
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of security initiatives
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience operating in environments that require discretion, ethics, and sound judgment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Ethical hacking, penetration testing, or red team experience
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and exploitation frameworks
Security certifications such as: CISSP, CISM, CEH, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar
Experience collaborating with IT operations, infrastructure, and leadership teams
Background in incident response planning and tabletop exercises
