Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Mid-Level Software Engineer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in the DMV area.
This position is part of the Enterprise Services Messaging Platform (ESMP) team, which manages the event-driven messaging platform that enables real-time communication among custom applications at the firm.
Responsibilities :
- We are seeking a full-stack engineer who can support the entire software development lifecycle of our cloud-native platform, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), application development (Java, Python, TypeScript), relational databases (PostgreSQL), NoSQL technologies (OpenSearch), operations, and end-user support.
- We are looking for an engineer who can help accelerate our modernization efforts, simplify the platform architecture, and drive scalability as we grow from processing billions of records across 30 AWS accounts to hundreds of billions of records across hundreds of accounts. This role will also contribute to expanding the platform's capabilities through the development of new features and services.
