Summary

Position Overview

The Business Analyst will support HR systems modernization and workflow automation initiatives by working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to analyze, document, test, and improve HR-related business processes and applications. This role is responsible for gathering functional requirements, coordinating testing activities, supporting Agile project delivery, and ensuring that HR automation solutions align with organizational and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project schedules, implementation plans, and documentation for HR automation initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for HR systems and workflow processes.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with HR stakeholders and business units.
  • Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
  • Manage Agile artifacts including user stories, sprint backlogs, and project backlogs within Azure DevOps.
  • Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Create functional specifications, workflow diagrams, process documentation, and business procedures.
  • Analyze existing HR workflows and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and enterprise support teams during system assessments and implementations.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with subject matter experts to identify system gaps and remediation requirements.
  • Prepare executive summaries, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Support business process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst supporting HR systems, workflow automation, or enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and process analysis.
  • Ability to create user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and business process workflows.
