Summary

Our client, a leading organization in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a SoC Memory Interconnect Validation Engineer to join their team. As a SoC Memory Interconnect Validation Engineer, you will be part of the IP Systems Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams.

Job Title: SoC Memory Interconnect Validation Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range:$59 - $62 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Participate in systems design development throughout the entire product lifecycle, from pre-silicon and emulation through post-silicon and software integration and validation.
  • Lead technical presentations, demonstrating a good understanding of hardware architecture and expertise in systems design.
  • Collaborate with Design, Software, Tools, and other teams to define testing and debug methodologies to ensure comprehensive coverage and optimal customer experience.
  • Support the isolation and debugging of issues in northbridge and memory interconnect systems during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production phases.
  • Define and execute validation strategies, enable features, and develop unit test plans to ensure system robustness.

What's Needed?

  • In-depth knowledge of CPU memory hierarchy systems and computer architecture.
  • Experience with SOC architecture and concepts, including northbridge/southbridge technology.
  • Hands-on experience with FPGA and hardware emulation platforms for pre-silicon debug.
  • Strong understanding of BIOS, OS interactions (Windows/Linux), and driver-level failure points.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and mentor team members.
