As a Systems Engineering Lead within our National Security Segment, you will apply your systems engineering expertise to deliver model-based engineering solutions across multiple programs. Your thought leadership will drive the creation of digital threads for Department of War systems using multiple requirements management, model-based design, and product lifecycle tools. As a lead, you will be involved in the planning, creation, and review of model-based engineering standards and practices. Your expertise will be applied to educate program staff on systems engineering and lead model-based systems engineering teams through the implementation of engineering practices, development and review of artifacts, and leading engineering reviews.

You Have: - 10+ years of experience in the systems engineering of Department of War products
- Experience in leading the development of technical strategies, technology road maps and technical team skill development plans encompassing at least two projects in excess of $5M each
- Experience with developing systems engineering plans, identifying cost, schedule, and performance risks, and developing mitigation plans
- Experience developing reference architectures, executable architectures, modeling IT systems and alignment of architectures with designs
- Experience interfacing with engineering teams and creating relationships between requirements, architecture and design, and test artifacts utilizing model-based met hodologies
- Knowledge of facilitating, c ond ucting, and organizing reviews, including internal and external briefings, and managing action items
- Knowledge of risk management, including identifying cost, schedule, and performance risks and defining mitigation plans
- Knowledge of defining the architecture approach and vision for complex systems that integrate work products across functions and product teams
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Sof tware Engineering

- Knowledge of Department of Defense ( DoD ) Architecture Framework ( DoDAF ) or Unified Architecture Framework ( UAF )
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 acqui sit ion lifecycle and systems engineering requirements
- Knowledge of the Agile development met hodology, asso cia ted toolsets, and roles
- Ability to lead, coach, and direct activities to achieve a t rus ted technical solution
- Ability to effectively communicate with subject matter experts and end users to assist in the development of hardware and sof tware solutions
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Sof tware Engineering, or Engineering Management
- Systems Engineering or Architecture Accreditation Certification , such as INCOSE ASEP or CSEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
