Description

The Lead Observability Engineer is responsible for establishing best-in-class observability practices as an expert in creating solutions using Dyna-Trace and other monitoring platforms. End-to-end execution and implementation of Dynatrace solutions in a complex customer environment Document design and implementation decisions in an effective manner for knowledge management Cross-train peers with tool usage Drive the creation of best practices Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, SMEs, and business advocates to drive enterprise solutions Present and demonstrate Application Performance Management solutions to peers, other teams, and leadership Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues Hands-on expertise with other monitoring tools like Solarwinds, Splunk etc. Ability to build application metrics and dashboards Ability to interface with high-level application owners 3-5 years of hands-on experience building solutions using Dyna-Trace (preferably in a SaaS tenant, AWS preferred) Bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent experience Experience owning/independently managing enterprise observability solutions Experience with configuration and customization of Dynatrace that includes integration with other tools Experience with admin-level tasks - Alert configuration, Maintenance windows, Anomaly detection, changing thresholds, Custom event creation, Business Events (bizevents), request attributes, OneAgent upgrade/install Knowledge of ITIL concepts and principles Familiarity with Azure, Service-Now, SolarWinds, Splunk, Databricks, and Agile a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
