Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Migration
Perform end-to-end data analysis, transformation, and migration between source and target Salesforce orgs using DBAmp and T-SQL as the primary ETL toolset
Write, test, and execute T-SQL migration scripts that leverage DBAmp linked-server connections to read from and write to Salesforce objects directly
Analyze source data quality, identify transformation requirements, and design mapping logic that accounts for Salesforce object relationships, record types, and lookup/master-detail hierarchies
Validate migrated data for referential integrity, field-level accuracy, and adherence to Salesforce validation rules and order-of-execution considerations
Salesforce Platform and Data Architecture
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, including standard and custom object relationships, record ownership, sharing rules, and field-level security
Collaboration and Project Execution
Participate in cross-functional project teams, including coordination with developers, admins, business analysts, and project managers
Operate effectively within larger and geographically distributed (remote) teams, maintaining clear communication, and task visibility
Follow Agile/Scrum practices-contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
Proficiency in T-SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and data transformation scripts
Hands-on experience with DBAmp (or similar Salesforce-to-SQL Server ETL tools) for direct data extraction, loading, and manipulation against Salesforce orgs
Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform: object model, relationships (lookup, master-detail, junction), record types, validation rules, and order of execution
Demonstrated experience with data analysis, data migration, and source-to-target mapping in enterprise environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification
Experience with additional ETL/data tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft, Jitterbit, Data Loader, Workbench, or Dataloader.io
Experience working within large-scale Salesforce org consolidation or multi-org environments
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and database administration fundamentals
The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
