Role Summary
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Analyst to join a collaborative IAM and Security Operations team. This role plays a critical part in implementing, automating, and supporting enterprise cybersecurity solutions with a strong focus on identity and access management, Microsoft security technologies, and operational efficiency.
The Cybersecurity Solutions Analyst serves as a primary escalation point for Cybersecurity Analysts while partnering closely with engineers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders. This individual will drive automation initiatives, strengthen identity centric security controls, optimize security platforms, and help improve the organization''s overall security posture through durable, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain security automations, scripts, workflows, and integrations using PowerShell, Python, APIs, Microsoft Graph, and source control tools
• Serve as the primary escalation point for Cybersecurity Analysts and coordinate with senior engineering resources on complex issues
• Troubleshoot advanced identity, endpoint, cloud, network access, and security platform incidents
• Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, recovery efforts, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Implement, configure, and optimize Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Security, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and Privileged Identity Management solutions
• Manage security platform integrations, vendor escalations, tuning efforts, and operational enhancements across assigned technologies
• Create and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, dashboards, procedures, and reusable tools that improve analyst effectiveness and reduce escalations
• Analyze recurring alerts, tickets, and manual processes to implement long term solutions that reduce operational overhead and improve security outcomes
Key Requirements
• 4+ years of hands on experience in cybersecurity, security operations, identity security, IT operations, or a related field
• Strong expertise in Identity Management principles, identity centric security controls, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Advanced PowerShell scripting experience and working knowledge of Python for automation, integrations, API development, and operational efficiency
• Hands on experience with Microsoft security technologies, including Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Security, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and Privileged Identity Management
• Experience building automations, integrations, workflows, and process improvements using APIs and Microsoft Graph
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Security certifications, Security+, CySA+, GSEC, GIAC, or equivalent practical experience preferred
• Strong understanding of AI assisted automation and prompt engineering techniques to enhance operational productivity and solution development
• Excellent communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and nontechnical teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with Netskope, Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, Entra ID Governance, or similar enterprise security technologies
• Familiarity with SIEM and SOAR concepts, managed SOC operations, alert tuning, detection engineering, and automation playbooks
• Experience working in healthcare, regulated industries, multi entity organizations, or high growth environments
• Experience integrating enterprise security tools through APIs and Microsoft Graph
