Job Type: W2 Contract
Expected Hours per Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5
Pay Range: $42.30 Per hour

Position Description:
We are seeking an Advanced Emissions Calibration Engineer responsible for developing and demonstrating system-level capabilities to achieve future emissions targets (SULEV20, SULEV15, and SULEV10) for gasoline-powered Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), Hybrid (HEV), and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) applications.

This role bridges the gap between virtual simulation and physical validation, leading the development of calibration strategies that balance stringent regulatory compliance with core vehicle attributes like fuel economy and drivability. The ideal candidate combines high-level analytical strategy with a hands-on approach to commissioning and debugging complex prototype propulsion systems.

What You'll Do:
Support development of advanced emissions calibration strategies for ICE, HEV, and PHEV applications
Deliver calibration solutions to meet SULEV20, SULEV15, and SULEV10 emissions targets
Bridge virtual simulation results with physical validation testing
Perform calibration tuning to balance emissions compliance, fuel economy, and drivability
Conduct engine and vehicle testing in dyno environments
Analyze large datasets to identify trends and validate calibration performance
Support prototype builds, including wiring, setup, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and testing
Support regulatory compliance and emissions certification activities
