Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support the development and testing of prototypes and clinical supplies. This role involves hands-on work in a cleanroom environment, supporting R&D activities, prototype builds, and manufacturing studies across all stages of development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in R&D projects involving the development and testing of prototypes.
  • Operate lab and production equipment, conduct tests, and record data in required formats.
  • Manage daily lab priorities while supporting special projects as needed.
  • Perform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms and trend related data.
  • Work with e-routers, including Workflow Manager.
  • Assemble IOL delivery devices and support optic assembly and haptic attachment processes.
  • Perform manual and automated oil filling and work with metrology systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with GDP/GMP standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Provide support for manufacturing studies, design studies, human factor builds, and delivery studies.
  • Use microscopes for small-component assembly and perform precise manual work on medical devices.
  • Collect and analyze metrology data related to medical device components.
  • Support day-to-day lab activities to ensure efficient team operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate fluently in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft OS systems.
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments.
  • Experience with medical device assembly and metrology tools preferred.
