Summary

We are seeking an experienced NPI/NPD Program Manager to lead end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD) programs for a next-generation semiconductor automation platform. The ideal candidate will drive product development from concept through design, validation, pilot builds, and manufacturing release while coordinating global cross-functional teams.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of Program Management experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD) programs.
  • Strong understanding of Phase-Gate/Product Development & Introduction (PDI) methodologies.
  • Experience managing engineering development and manufacturing release programs.
  • Expertise with BOM management, configuration control, change management, and release-to-manufacturing processes.
  • Experience leading prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, and pilot build activities.
  • Strong knowledge of Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV) testing.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, and Excel.
  • Experience working with ERP, MRP, and PLM systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end NPI programs from concept, design, validation, pilot builds, and manufacturing release.
  • Drive NPD initiatives, product enhancements, and customer-specific customizations.
  • Manage global manufacturing readiness and transition from U.S. pilot production to high-volume manufacturing in Malaysia.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, milestones, dashboards, risk registers, and governance processes.
  • Ensure BOM completeness, sourcing readiness, configuration management, and manufacturing scalability.
  • Lead risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Product Management, and Service organizations.
  • Deliver executive-level status reporting on program health, risks, milestones, and financial performance.
