Oracle Hyperion Administrator / Essbase Developer

Experience

• 10–12 years of experience in Hyperion Administration and Essbase Application Development.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience implementing or upgrading the Oracle Hyperion product suite.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer, install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle Hyperion Suite, Essbase, WebLogic, Oracle HTTP Server, and Java components.
• Manage Hyperion infrastructure, system administration, and environment configuration.
• Handle Hyperion security, including user creation, role management, and access administration.
• Monitor Hyperion environments and proactively identify system errors, outages, and performance issues.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and performance-related issues.
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities for Hyperion applications.
• Migrate Hyperion objects across Development, Test, and Production environments using Lifecycle Management (LCM) or manual migration methods.
• Support application optimization and performance tuning initiatives.
• Evaluate, install, and validate Hyperion patches and product upgrades.
• Maintain technical documentation, version control, and deployment records.
• Work closely with business users and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and operational best practices.
• Participate in Agile development and support activities.

• Oracle Hyperion Essbase (On-Premises) 11.2.8 or higher.
• Oracle Hyperion EPM Administration.
• Essbase Administration and Application Development.
• Hyperion Installation, Configuration, and Administration.
• Hyperion Upgrade and Migration.
• Oracle Essbase Security Administration.
• Hyperion Performance Tuning.
• Hyperion Backup and Recovery.
• Hyperion Lifecycle Management (LCM).
• Hyperion System Log Monitoring.
• Oracle EPM Administration.
• SQR Administration.
• Linux Administration.
• Migration across multiple environments.
• Troubleshooting Hyperion infrastructure and applications.

Preferred Skills

• Java.
• Unix Shell Scripting.
• Oracle WebLogic.
• Oracle Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience supporting Java-based Hyperion security modules.
