EConstruction, a operating unit of Messer Construction Co., is currently seeking an Electrical Foreman to join the team.

Eemploys more than 120 skilled craft workers that focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. We offer general, commercial and industrial construction including electrical work, millwrights, pipe fitters and structural steel detailers.

What You Will Do:

• Mentor and help grow craft workers

• Manage contract administration (subcontract/field management meeting for communication)

• Review, approve and negotiate change orders

• Maintain daily activities for record keeping purposes

• Oversee and approve the month job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections

• Read and interpret single line diagrams, elementary drawings and P&ID?s

• Installation of raceways: Cable tray, Wire way and Rigid conduit

• Instrumentation and Control wiring and/or tubing.

• C1D1 and intrinsically safe wiring methods.

• Perform planned maintenance, inspection and installation on process and production equipment.

• Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards and protect self and others.

What You Will Bring:

• 8+ years of commercial and/or industrial construction experience (3+ years in a foreman/leadership capacity)

• OSHA 10/30 Certified; If uncertified, must be obtained prior to start date (training and certification paid for by EGC)

• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding procedure and software programs

• Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills.
• Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus!
