Data Science Intern, PAI to be in
PA Spring House.- The Intern / Co-op term is from June to August, 2026.
- Full time requirement (40 hours per week).
Purpose:We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Data Science Intern to support our research and development initiatives focusing on in-silico perturbation models. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with our AI/ML team on validation of network models to assess in-silico perturbation methods and results. With this, we aim to improve our drug discovery processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the PAI team and DPDS to validate in-silico models for perturbations.
- Analyze and aggregate results from multiple in-silico experiments.
- Present analytical findings to cross-functional teams, contextualizing results within broader project goals.
- Draft technical papers for high impact conferences and/or journals
Qualifications / Requirements:- Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Ph.D. in computational biology, genetics, or a related field.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
- Extensive hands-on experience in AI/ML research and/or computational biology
- Experience in network modeling
- Proficiency in Python and R
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate and collaborate in a cross-functional setting

The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension).
