About the Role
We're looking for a senior Java engineer to guide the architecture and development of scalable software across several connected systems. You'll modernize existing applications using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation to speed up delivery and improve business results.

What You Bring

Must-Have

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development
• 5+ years building with Spring Boot, with deep command of the framework
• 5+ years in Software Design & Architecture, including solutions that span multiple teams
• Working knowledge of AI-powered development tools and how they fit into the engineering lifecycle
• Leadership experience managing team performance, owning technical decisions, and coordinating across several groups

What You'll Do

Modernization & AI Enablement

• Head up modernization of legacy applications by bringing in AI-powered development tools, intelligent automation, and Agentic AI capabilities.
• Build AI-assisted solutions that support development, testing, and deployment.
• Track emerging technologies, judge where they fit, and bring proven practices into the team's workflow.

Architecture & Engineering

• Design and deliver complex software components as business needs change.
• Study how systems perform and find where scalability and efficiency can improve.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor engineers and give technical direction, building a culture of teamwork and new ideas.
• Work with stakeholders so each solution supports both long-term strategy and daily operations.
• Serve as the link between multiple groups and take ownership of team outcomes.
