About the RoleWe are seeking an innovative
Embedded Software Engineer to advance our embedded software projects for advanced industrial equipment controls (such as chiller applications). In this role, you will write and program software across multiple platforms-including Linux, Azure cloud environments, and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS). You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary hardware and firmware teams, which design custom circuit boards and IO pipelines, to implement robust controls logic and high-performance system interfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Design, program, and implement secure, high-quality embedded software solutions for specialized equipment controls and hardware integration across diverse platforms (Linux, Azure, RTOS).
- Participate in cross-functional teams spanning software, firmware, controls, hardware, and applications to ensure tight integration of subsystems and IO control pipelines.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including specifications, design documents, prototyping, implementation, and unit testing.
- Maintain version control and project tracking workflows utilizing modern tooling such as GitHub and Jira.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement and the delivery of reliable thermal/equipment control systems.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field (required).
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on embedded software development experience (strong interns or co-ops with relevant embedded projects will also be considered).
- Technical Skills: Strong software design and programming proficiency in C or C++. Experience programming across multi-platform targets (Linux, RTOS, cloud/Azure).
- Tools & Workflow: Familiarity with modern development and tracking tools such as GitHub/Git and Jira.
- Core Competencies: Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively on-site.
