Validate Excels/Files/SQL Server data sources by connecting to databases, analyzing schemas, views, stored procedures, and query patterns used by Tableau
Develop optimization recommendations including dashboard performance tuning, semantic model simplification, extract-to-live conversion opportunities, and calculated field improvements
Perform detailed analysis of custom SQL statements within dashboards to identify SQL Server-specific syntax requiring translation for Fabric compatibility
Perform inventory analysis, collaborate with stakeholders, and documenting discrepancies between source and target
Extract and document business logic embedded in Tableau calculations, parameters, and filters to ensure preservation during migration
Create migration wave recommendations with priority-based phasing strategy, risk assessment, rollback plans, and detailed effort estimates for execution
