Product Owner (ServiceNow)

Job Description:

In this role, the person will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for ServiceNow modules, partnering closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and platform architects to deliver best-in-class enterprise service management capabilities at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for assigned ServiceNow modules
• Translate business requirements into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the ServiceNow development team
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews in an Agile/SAFe delivery model
• Drive platform governance, ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices and enterprise architecture standards
• Monitor product performance through KPIs and OKRs, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement
• Evaluate and recommend new ServiceNow capabilities, upgrades, and third-party integrations
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and security teams to ensure the platform meets regulatory requirements - particularly critical in a financial services environment
• Manage vendor relationships with ServiceNow and implementation partners

Required Qualifications

• 6 10 years of experience in product management or product ownership roles
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform across one or more modules
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies; SAFe certification is a plus
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes in large enterprise environments
• Experience working in financial services, banking, or a similarly regulated industry preferred
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical business audiences
