PETADATA is currently hiring a Business Analyst for one of their clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to financial systems and processes.
Conduct detailed requirement analysis including BRD, FRD, use cases, process flows, and gap analysis.
Work closely with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Risk teams to understand functional needs.
Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
Support implementation and enhancement of financial systems such as ERP, billing, reporting, and compliance platforms.
Perform impact analysis for regulatory and compliance changes (e.g., SOX, GAAP, IFRS).
Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), prepare test cases, and ensure successful deployment.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation solutions.
Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Provide post-implementation support and assist in issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong exposure to the Finance domain.
In-depth knowledge of financial processes such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting.
Strong understanding of financial compliance standards (GAAP, IFRS, SOX).
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial platforms.
Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
