About the Role
Our client, a global leader in the powersports, manufacturing, and distribution industry, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist (L2) to provide onsite technical support within a fast-paced production environment. This role supports manufacturing operations, distribution centers, and corporate users by ensuring critical technology systems remain operational and efficient.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with remote IT teams. This position is primarily focused on providing overnight IT infrastructure and end-user support, including PC deployment, imaging, hardware troubleshooting, and production-line technology support.

Job Description
As an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist (L2), you will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting a variety of hardware, software, and infrastructure technologies used throughout manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments. You will serve as a key onsite IT resource during the overnight shift, supporting production operations, end users, and ongoing technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize daily work based on outstanding service desk requests and operational needs.
  • Document incidents, requests, and work activity within the organization''s IT service management platform.
  • Provide timely technical support for manufacturing, distribution, and corporate environments.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot:
    • Laptops and desktop computers
    • Handheld barcode scanners
    • Custom workstations
    • Label printers
    • IP phones and peripheral devices
  • Support Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and other enterprise software platforms.
  • Administer user accounts and end-user device objects within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Perform computer refreshes, imaging, hardware deployments, and device replacements.
  • Serve as a local hands-on resource for advanced IT teams by assisting with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and project implementation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support production-line technology during overnight manufacturing operations.
  • Assist with overflow support requests from first and second shift teams as needed.
  • Participate in after-hours or on-call support activities when required.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining laptops and desktops within an enterprise environment.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in an enterprise helpdesk setting
  • Comfort or experience working an overnight shift
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with Active Directory and user account administration.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Quick learner who can adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in warehouse, office, and manufacturing environments.
  • Availability to work onsite during the overnight shift (approximately 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-year technical degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an enterprise help desk or IT support environment.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or distribution center technology environments.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Wired and wireless networking
    • Handheld barcode scanners
    • Printers and label printers
    • IP phones and related peripheral devices
  • Experience supporting both onsite and remote users within a large enterprise organization.
