Summary
- Client is seeking a detail-oriented, strategic, and values-driven Controller to lead our financial operations. This role is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls while supporting leadership in making informed business decisions.

- Financial Leadership & Oversight
- Manage all accounting operations including AR, AP, payroll, inventory, and general ledger
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Monitor cash flow, margins, and dealership performance metrics
- Strategic Support
- Partner with ownership and leadership to guide financial decision-making
- Provide insights on profitability, cost control, and growth opportunities
- Support pricing strategies and inventory planning with financial analysis
- Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax requirements, and reporting standards
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and processes
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions
- Dealership Operations Support
- Oversee floor plan financing and manufacturer reporting requirements
- Monitor equipment inventory valuation and turnover
- Support sales and service departments with financial insights and reporting

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience (dealership or inventory-based business experience strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with inventory accounting and floor plan financing is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Accurate, timely financial reporting that leadership can trust.

- Strong internal controls with minimal risk exposure.

- Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience within a dealership or inventory-based business.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Hands-on experience managing inventory accounting and core accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger, and budgeting.
- Proficiency using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience supporting HR functions (such as payroll, benefits, or general HR administration) and willingness to work in a hands-on, multi-functional role.
