Network Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities
  • Review photo documentation of network cabling, rack, and low-voltage installations to verify compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and project requirements
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on completed installations, identifying deficiencies, non-conformances, and required corrective actions
  • Validate workmanship related to cabling routes, labeling, terminations, grounding, bend radius, and rack organization
  • Document review findings clearly and consistently, including approvals, rejections, and corrective feedback
  • Communicate installation requirements and QA findings to technicians, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain organized records of installation reviews, approvals, and supporting documentation
  • Support installation acceptance and close-out processes by confirming all compliance criteria are met
  • Provide input to improve installation standards, checklists, and photo documentation guidelines
 
Requirements
  • Cabling / Networking Background: Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network infrastructure; familiarity with industry best practices for rack layouts, pathways, and terminations
  • Low-Voltage Cabling Experience: Understanding of low-voltage cabling standards (copper and fiber); ability to identify proper routing, labeling, bend radius, grounding, and strain relief from photo documentation
  • Quality Assurance (QA) on Installations: Experience performing QA reviews of network or cabling installations; ability to verify compliance against internal standards, project requirements, and installation checklists
  • Technical Competence in Photo Review: Strong ability to review and interpret installation photos to assess workmanship, completeness, and compliance; capability to identify deficiencies and required remediation
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and consistency when reviewing installation details; ability to apply standards uniformly across multiple sites and projects
  • Communication Skills: Clear written communication for documenting findings, deficiencies, and approvals; ability to provide constructive feedback to technical teams and stakeholders
  • Administrative Skills: Organized, methodical approach to tracking reviews, approvals, and documentation; comfort working with checklists, spreadsheets, ticketing systems, and document repositories
