Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, network security, firewalls, and network performance optimization to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.

  • Manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network security devices.

  • Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.

  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability.

  • Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center network environments.

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and performance issues.

  • Implement network security policies, access controls, and firewall rules.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on network projects.

  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.

  • Participate in network upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery, and incident resolution.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering and enterprise networking.

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and subnetting.

  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Experience with BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.

  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, wireless networking, and network security.

  • Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cisco networking experience; CCNA or CCNP certification is a plus.

  • Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco firewall technologies.

  • Knowledge of cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Familiarity with network automation tools such as Python or Ansible.

  • Experience with SD-WAN, network virtualization, or data center networking.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
