Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager QA Automation with strong expertise in Duck Creek Policy & Billing and the commercial property & casualty insurance domain.
The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end QA strategy and execution, with a strong focus on API automation, quality engineering, and program governance for large-scale insurance implementations.

Program Management & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end QA program delivery for Duck Creek Policy and Billing implementations
  • Manage multiple workstreams across Policy, Billing, and integrations
  • Define and track program milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Drive stakeholder communication across business, IT, and vendor teams
  • Ensure alignment with release timelines and production readiness
QA Strategy & Automation Leadership
  • Define and implement API-first automation strategy for Duck Creek applications
  • Establish scalable automation frameworks for Policy and Billing APIs
  • Drive adoption of BDD/TDD approaches for test automation
  • Oversee automation coverage across:
  • Policy lifecycle (Submission Quote Bind Issue)
  • Billing lifecycle (Account Invoice Payment Reconciliation)
  • Ensure integration testing across external systems and third-party APIs

  • Provide domain leadership across commercial lines:
  • General Liability
  • Commercial Property
  • Business Owners Policy (BOP)
  • Workers Compensation
  • Commercial Auto, etc.
  • Understand and validate:
  • Underwriting rules
  • Rating logic
  • Policy transactions (endorsements, renewals, cancellations)
  • Leverage Duck Creek APIs (Policy, Billing, Rating, Underwriting) for testing strategy

Quality Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish quality metrics, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Analyze defects, production issues, and release slippages
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements

  • Lead and mentor QA, automation, and offshore teams
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business SMEs
  • Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams for seamless delivery
  • Support client interactions, including status reporting and governance calls

Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
  • Strong Program Management experience in large-scale IT programs
  • Deep expertise in Insurance Domain (P&C)
  • Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy & Billing
  • Strong exposure to test automation (API + UI)
  • Experience with tools such as:
  • REST API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, Karate, etc.)
  • Playwright frameworks
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Policy lifecycle
  • Billing lifecycle
  • Integration testing
Good-to-Have
  • Experience in commercial insurance products for small businesses
  • Experience in DevOps/CI-CD pipelines
  • Exposure to performance and security testing

  • Proven experience managing large QA transformation programs
