Summary
Epic Data Conversion Developer
We are looking for an experienced Epic Data Conversion Developer to support data migration from 3M SoftMed to the Epic platform. The role involves designing and executing ETL processes, mapping legacy data to Epic (Chronicles/Clarity), and ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the conversion lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data mapping from 3M SoftMed to Epic systems
- Develop ETL processes using SQL, Python, or ETL tools
- Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation
- Support testing cycles, mock conversions, and go-live activities
- Collaborate with Epic teams (Cadence, Resolute, ClinDoc)
Required Skills:
- 3–7+ years of data conversion / ETL experience
- Strong SQL and scripting (Python/Shell) skills
- Experience with Epic (Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle)
- Knowledge of healthcare data and workflows
Preferred:
- Epic certification or implementation experience
- Familiarity with HL7/FHIR and Epic DCT
