Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior ETL Data Engineer to support an enterprise data team in Washington, DC. This is a 100% onsite role focused on building, enhancing, and supporting data pipelines and data transformation processes using Microsoft Azure technologies.

Strong hands-on experience with ETL and end-to-end data pipelines
Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, ADLS Gen2, and Blob Storage
Strong SQL experience with relational databases
Experience working with Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, CSV, XML, Parquet, and AVRO
Experience with data integration tools such as Informatica, Apache NiFi, Airflow, or FME
Experience gathering requirements and developing data extraction, transformation, and loading solutions
Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, BI, and data governance
Ability to monitor, automate, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines
Strong communication skills and ability to work with business and technical stakeholders
Databricks and Python experience is a plus
Visualization experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, or Esri ArcGIS is a plus
