We’re looking with someone with more experience; the candidates we’ve seen, thus far, have not been on the high end technically nor been able to architect a solution given a set of requirements.  We want the person to be able to have a conversation about the requirements and willing to ask questions to reach the requirement’s end goal, to make suggestions on alternative solutions that will improve the overall design.  They should be focused on producing a solid architecture design, understanding all aspects from the business view down to the technical details and be able to communicate each part, working with non-technical and technical audiences. They should also understand the importance of writing maintainable code and following existing standards while having the desire and ability to communicate ways to improve existing software.  They should have the following technical skills:
