Sr. IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
The person MUST have Sterling File Gateway (SFG), ACE experience a big plus.
They must be onsite from Day #1 in either NJ or GA. Needing someone senior/lead with years of SFG experience.
Client is seeking a senior hands-on Middleware Engineer to support a growing Middleware team focused on availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise integration platforms. This role will design, implement, and support B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator / File Gateway (SFG), ensuring secure and scalable data exchange across enterprise systems and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator / File Gateway (SFG)
- Build and manage B2B file transfer workflows, including trading partner onboarding and configuration
- Configure and support secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, AS2, FTP/S)
- Implement and maintain security standards including TLS and PGP encryption
- Troubleshoot integration and file transfer issues; perform root cause analysis and resolution
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and uptime of middleware platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (application, infrastructure, security) to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Maintain documentation, configurations, and operational procedures
Required Skills (Must-Have)
- 5+ years of experience in middleware / enterprise integration roles
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator / File Gateway (SFG)
- Proven experience with file transfer protocols:
- Strong understanding of B2B integration standards and data exchange
- Hands-on experience with security protocols (TLS, PGP encryption)
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experiencE
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
- Exposure to or working knowledge of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- Experience with Sterling Secure Proxy or broader IBM middleware stack
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, etc.)
- Scripting/automation experience (Shell, Python, etc.)
