Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Software Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ or Irving, TX. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will be part of a contact center technology team, focusing on migrating contact center software from on-premise to a cloud infrastructure. This position involves engineering design, development, and deployment of middleware to fill product gaps and integrate systems. The work is a mix of backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (React) development to build and maintain UIs and deliver value to the organization.
Responsibilities: - Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Requirements: - 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education
- 5-7 years of Java Development experience
- Experience with Spring Boot, React, and Microservices
- Experience with Kafka
- Familiarity with OCP (Cloud Foundry) or other cloud deployment environments
- Experience with modern stack as a developer
Desired skills: - GenAI/LLM experience (creating agents, LLM integrations)
- Experience in Contact Center technology development
Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
