Quality Assurance Inspector I - Bridgewater MA

Kelly Science and Clinical FSP is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector I for a long-term engagement with one of our Global Medical Device clients in Bridgewater, MA. This person will join our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc. Quality Assurance Inspector I - Bridgewater MA

Duties:
  • The Quality Technician I will perform inspections of machined components, assemblies and castings to support receiving inspection, validations, and process improvement activities.
  • Will perform open set-up inspections utilizing a variety of inspection equipment and visual standards. Support Raynham Operator Certification initiatives throughout the facility.
  • Mechanical inspection will be performed.
  • The Quality Technician will utilize GD&T and blue print reading skills daily.

Qualifications Required:
  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Manufacturing background is required.
  • 1-2 years of inspection experience in a precision machining and/or casting environment .
  • Excellent written, oral communication, organization and computer skills

Preferred skills:
  • Medical Device inspection experience.
  • Blue print interpretation skills and a working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) applications
  • Working knowledge of various applications of shop mathematics
  • ASQ Certification
  • Optical Comparators experience
  • CMM operating experience is a plus
