Experience Required: 20+ Years

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst with strong domain expertise in Financial Services, Payments, and Card systems. The ideal candidate will have expert-level SQL skills and deep functional understanding of Payments processing, General Ledger, Credit & Debit Card ecosystems. Knowledge of Payment APIs is a strong plus.

Key responsibilities:

Analyze complex financial and payment datasets to derive actionable insights.
Work extensively with large-scale transactional data related to Payments, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and General Ledger systems.
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries for reporting, reconciliation, and analytics.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand payment workflows and financial processes.
Support data validation, reconciliation, and audit requirements within payment and card domains.
Work closely with API teams to analyze and validate Payment API integrations (preferred).
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve payment processing efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in Financial Services.
Strong domain knowledge in:
- Payments Processing
- General Ledger
- Credit Card Systems
- Debit Card Systems
Expert-level SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning, large datasets).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with financial transaction data and reconciliation processes.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Payment APIs (REST/SOAP).
Understanding of card networks and payment gateways.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial systems.
