We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst with strong domain expertise in Financial Services, Payments, and Card systems. The ideal candidate will have expert-level SQL skills and deep functional understanding of Payments processing, General Ledger, Credit & Debit Card ecosystems. Knowledge of Payment APIs is a strong plus.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze complex financial and payment datasets to derive actionable insights.

• Work extensively with large-scale transactional data related to Payments, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and General Ledger systems.

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries for reporting, reconciliation, and analytics.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand payment workflows and financial processes.

• Support data validation, reconciliation, and audit requirements within payment and card domains.

• Work closely with API teams to analyze and validate Payment API integrations (preferred).

• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve payment processing efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in Financial Services.

• Strong domain knowledge in:

  • Payments Processing

  • General Ledger

  • Credit Card Systems

  • Debit Card Systems

• Expert-level SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning, large datasets).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with financial transaction data and reconciliation processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Payment APIs (REST/SOAP).

• Understanding of card networks and payment gateways.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial systems.
