Procurement Category Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Procurement Category Specialist in Erlanger, KY.

Key Responsibilities:
* Procurement Category Specialist will lead workflow processes related to new products, formulation updates, and material changes
* Manage supplier onboarding and documentation requirements
* Maintain raw material approval databases and ensure data accuracy
* Partner cross-functionally with regulatory, quality, operations, and product teams
* As a Procurement Category Specialist, you will resolve pricing, receipt, and supply discrepancies
* Support forecasting, supplier performance tracking, and sourcing initiatives
* Assist with procurement process improvements and system standardization efforts

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; Power BI experience is a plus
* Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
