responsibilities:
Act as the operational right-hand to senior project managers, driving the day-to-day logistical execution and administrative workflows of critical software releases.
Draft, maintain, and execute detailed project plans within a structured Waterfall environment to ensure strict adherence to deployment timelines.
Oversee the complete administrative pipeline of transactional software delivery, meticulously tracking dependencies, risks, and budget constraints.
Communicate daily project progress and potential bottlenecks to multidisciplinary teams, executive leadership, and external suppliers.
Ensure all release activities strictly comply with heavy regulatory procedures, internal policies, and ongoing audit requirements.
Prepare comprehensive project status reports and seamlessly navigate necessary change management initiatives.
qualifications:
5 or more years of dedicated experience in software delivery coordination, specifically focusing on the release of transactional software (this role does not cover hardware or infrastructure projects).
Proven track record operating within highly regulated, fast-paced industries such as banking, trading, or financial services.
Strong working experience executing projects within a Waterfall environment.
Foundational understanding of Agile team dynamics, ideally demonstrated through previous Scrum Master experience.
Professional fluency in both English and French to effectively integrate with the team, though English will be the primary language for documentation and daily communication.
Ability to work a hybrid schedule, requiring 1 to 2 days per week onsite in the Montreal office.
Valid documentation and the ability to travel to the United States within the first month of employment for mandatory, regulatory background checks (travel expenses fully covered).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
