Role: Data Analyst/Report Writer 3
Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Role Overview
Supports Division of Integrated District Supports developing a school data platform that transforms raw data into actionable insights. Turns school system analytics into clear recommendations helping schools identify priorities, set goals, and improve student outcomes.
Builds/maintains low-code platforms (Power Platform, Qualtrics) displaying school data and collecting progress inputs. Creates intuitive dashboards, automated data collection systems (forms/surveys), statutory analysis tools, and Excel scorecards for application review/progress tracking. All work products are "works made for hire" owned by client; background checks may apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze school system data; deliver insights/recommendations for priorities, goals, student outcomes.
- Build/maintain low-code platforms (Power Platform, Qualtrics) for data display/input collection.
- Create dashboards/tools consolidating school data for non-technical users.
- Develop automated systems (forms, surveys, applications) for data collection/organization.
- Analyze federal/state statutory data to identify overlaps/redundancies; propose unified requirements.
- Build Excel scoring tools/trackers for application review, progress monitoring.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years Data Analytics and Data Storytelling.
- 8+ years Low-code platform development.
- 5+ years Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel focus).
- 3+ years Data visualization (Power BI).
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ years Qualtrics proficiency.
- 1+ years Smartsheet proficiency.
- Experience with state agencies, education sector, related fields.
Technical Stack: Power Platform, Power BI, Qualtrics, Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel (scorecards/trackers).
