Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Firmware Development: Develop and customize firmware for Type-C and USB-PD reference designs
  • Hardware Validation: Validate firmware and hardware against customer requirements
  • Interoperability Testing: Perform Interoperability and compliance tests on reference and customer designs
  • System Design: Co-develop and help strategic customers design and build USB Type-C and Power Delivery interfaces into their systems
  • Debugging Techniques: Hands-on debugging of Interface products and Microcontroller products
  • Lab Experience: Hands-on lab experience for board bring-up and debugging of analog circuits, voltage regulators, and power distribution circuits
  • Interface Understanding: Understanding of various host interfaces: USB, I2C, UART, SPI, etc

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Education: Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Computer Engineering preferred
  • Technical Skills: Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, protocol analyzers
  • Embedded Systems: Experience in embedded system design or applications
  • Communication: Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and designs
  • Customer Focus: Ability to work with customers to understand their requirements

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $30.00 per hour
Maximum of $36.50 per hour

Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
