Idealforce has contract to hire position available immediately for a Architect - Security Architect to join our customer in Phoenix,AZ. This is Hybrid Position.Please find below additional details about this job. Only Local Candidates are considered for this role.
Job Summary:
The Security Architect's primary responsibility will involve the assessment of planned and existing infrastructure, applications, and end user devices against defined agency and state security and compliance controls. This role includes identifying deficiencies and providing recommendations concerning perceived risk and remediation activities The Security Architect will provide expert guidance and security oversight for projects and technical architecture implementations while ensuring the communication and escalation of security activities to leadership. Working closely with the ISO, the Security Architect helps define security standards, procedures, operational activities, and technical architecture recommendations Provide guidance to the Junior Architect who perform similar functions.
- Considerable working knowledge of information security technologies and best practices in the areas of risk assessment, compliance and vulnerability management.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of NIST 800-53r5.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of current Windows operating systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of Cloud Computing architecture and best practices

Required Skills
5+ years of security experience
3+ years of Architecture experience
NIST SP 800-53 framework of security experience (Must have)
Cloud Architecture
Preferred Skills
MS Workstation
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Certification
Enterprise experience. Having worked with large organizations in the last two positions.
