Managed File Transfer (MFT) Engineer

We are seeking a high-level Lead Managed File Transfer Engineer to spearhead the development and maintenance of critical data exchange projects. This role focuses on utilizing the GoAnywhere platform to design robust, automated file transfer solutions that align with specific customer standards and enterprise-level operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities: * Develop and Architect: Design programs, jobs, and projects within the GoAnywhere environment following strict customer-defined standards.

• Lifecycle Management: Create, configure, and maintain new batch jobs and complex file transfer projects.
• Optimization: Perform root cause analysis for defect fixes and implement functional enhancements.
• System Administration: Manage configurations across both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Automation: Utilize Shell Scripting to streamline operational tasks and automate manual file movements.

Essential Skills: * GoAnywhere MFT: Expert-level development and configuration (5+ years).

• Operating Systems: Proficient in Linux and Windows environments.
• Scripting: Advanced Shell Scripting for automation.
• Protocols: Deep understanding of FTP, SFTP, AS2, and general File Transfer Protocols.
• Databases: Strong SQL knowledge for data integration and backend handling.

Desirable Skills: * Experience with Enterprise Automation workflows.

• Knowledge of Managed Service Provider (MSP) operational models.
• Security certifications related to data encryption and secure file transfer.
