 Job Summary 
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant   Container Platform (Kubernetes) to lead and support container platform operations with a primary focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes administration, cloud-native infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage container platform operations with a focus on GKE and Kubernetes environments.

• Design, deploy, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters and supporting infrastructure.

• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.

• Implement infrastructure automation and provisioning using Terraform.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab integrated with Kubernetes environments.

• Monitor cluster health, performance, and availability using Prometheus and related observability tools.

• Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for production environments.

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support application deployment and platform modernization initiatives.

• Establish and maintain operational standards, best practices, and documentation for container platform management.

Required Qualifications

• 8 10 years of overall IT experience.

• Strong hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters in enterprise environments.

• Experience managing and operating Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux-based environments.

• Knowledge of container technologies, networking, security, and cloud-native architectures.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with Prometheus and Kubernetes monitoring solutions.

• Experience with container security and service mesh technologies.

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services beyond GKE.

• Knowledge of GitOps practices and automation frameworks.
