PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) 100% Remote

Optimizes PostgreSQL performance through query optimization, index strategy, vacuum and analyze tuning, and database parameter configuration.
Administers Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora for PostgreSQL and supports database migration and data integration activities using AWS Database Migration Service and AWS Glue.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
Strong expertise in PostgreSQL performance tuning, including query optimization, index strategy, vacuum and analyze tuning, and parameter configuration.
Experience monitoring and troubleshooting PostgreSQL database performance, resource utilization, and availability.
Experience administering Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora for PostgreSQL.
Experience with AWS Lake Formation and data lake deployment and administration.
General understanding of Amazon Redshift architecture and service model, including role-based access control, user and group management, and security permissions.
Experience with AWS Glue and AWS Database Migration Service.
Database certification in PostgreSQL or Oracle preferred.
