Project Coordinator - Juneau, AKOverviewTEKsystems is supporting a key healthcare organization in Juneau, AK in hiring a
Project Coordinator to join their Project Management Office (PMO). This person will help drive multiple projects of varying complexity, collaborating closely with project managers, leadership, and cross-functional teams. What You'll Do- Maintain and update PMO project tracking and reporting systems
- Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for project managers and stakeholders
- Manage PMO resource libraries, templates, and internal standards
- Coordinate discovery and scoping efforts for new projects
- Support space management documentation and space request processes
- Schedule and support stakeholder meetings; ensure effective communication throughout project lifecycles
- Record and prepare meeting minutes
- Assist team members with necessary resources and task completion
- Support interdepartmental collaboration for ongoing projects
- Manage internal and external deadlines
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed
What You BringEducation & Certifications- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Planning, or related field
- Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree
- CAPM certification preferred
Experience- 5+ years in a high-level coordination or project support role
- Experience working within complex or fast-moving environments
Knowledge & Skills- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Experience in or exposure to healthcare environments (preferred)
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Creative problem-solver with a focus on time, budget, and quality
Technical Skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, or Bluebeam (preferred)
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Juneau, AK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
