DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support the Theatre Battle Control Division (AFLCMC/HBD). You'll lead the planning, execution, and sustainment of complex C2ISR, battle management, and air/missile defense programs that enable integrated operational awareness and decision-making across the joint force. This role oversees multi-disciplinary teams, coordinates with stakeholders across DoD and industry, and ensures delivery of advanced capabilities that meet theater-level command and control requirements.

This is a full-time position located at Hill AFB in Ogden, UT.

Essential Job Functions :
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, AFI 63-101/20-101, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification programs.
  • Knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and the pursuit of alternative courses of action.
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
  • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, deployment and sustainment of weapons systems and associated equipment as well as formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Support and develop acquisition and sustainment reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Monthly Activity Report (MAR), etc.).
  • Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
  • Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
  • Understand the different funding types, budgets and the Central Asset Management (CAM) process

Required Skills :
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 25 years of experience, 15 years of which must be in the DoD OR 30 years of directly related experience, 20 years of which must be in the DoD
  • Program management expertise with emphasis on requirements development, risk mitigation, and integrated planning across C2ISR and Battle Management programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of DoD systems acquisition processes, including lifecycle management and product support planning across all milestone phases.
  • Proficient in applying AFI 63-101/20-101 to Air Force acquisition and sustainment activities.
  • Strong understanding of DoDI 5000.02 and the broader DoD 5000-series frameworks governing major capability acquisition.
  • Familiarity with technologies, tools, and methodologies used in defense acquisition, including configuration management, technical baseline control, and integrated product support strategies.

Desired Skills:

Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and at least 20 years of experience, 12 years of which must be in the DoD
