Job Description
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our dynamic team supporting the EET Accessibility Remediation project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, API automation, CI/CD integration, and Agile SDLC and a proven ability to design and execute manual and automated tests that meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements while driving high-quality releases.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Lead test planning at the team level and ensure clear acceptance criteria for refined user stories.
- Define in-scope and out-of-scope items during test planning.
- Implement and maintain the team's test framework and regression suites.
- Lead test case reviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure coverage.
- Identify automation opportunities and develop automation for UI, API, and data validation.
- Condition and generate test data while meeting data compliance requirements across environments, including management of sensitive data.
- Execute manual and automated test suites, record and communicate results, and assist with defect triage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
- Automation testing expertise with Tosca, Selenium, and UFT.
- Strong API automation and CI/CD integration experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java or Python.
- Experience automating database scripts and validations.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile concepts, with ability to translate technical designs into test solutions.
- Ability to create detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios from business requirements and user stories.
- Experience with JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
- Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and provide clear testing status and reporting.
- Effective communicator and collaborator, able to contribute as an individual and team member.
Preferred Skills:
- Selenium WebDriver expertise.
- Copilot experience for productivity and code assistance.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
