Product Designer

Description

We are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Appleton, Wisconsin. This contract position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial planning experience for prospects and clients by designing impactful and user-friendly digital solutions. You will play a key role in crafting engaging interfaces and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that enhance financial understanding and advisor collaboration.

Responsibilities:
Develop innovative solutions that align with organizational goals and user needs, using problem-solving methodologies within an agile framework.
Design and prototype visually appealing mobile and web experiences tailored to the needs of prospects and clients.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure seamless and pixel-perfect implementation of designs across various devices.
Apply human-centered design principles and leverage the organization's design system to address common design challenges.
Advocate for design decisions by presenting clear rationale to team members and stakeholders, gaining support for your ideas.
Facilitate collaboration within cross-functional teams by utilizing design workshops and storytelling techniques to build trust and foster relationships.
Demonstrate leadership competencies by inspiring teams, driving results, and modeling organizational values.
Promote continuous improvement and employee engagement while ensuring the delivery of exceptional client experiences.
Champion accessibility by integrating best practices, tools, and methodologies to create inclusive digital experiences.
Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure alignment and successful product development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, Web Product Design, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in user experience design.
Strong expertise in prototyping, visual design, and creating user-centric digital solutions.
Proficiency in human-centered design methods and familiarity with design systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders and team members.
Experience working within agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in design.
Demonstrated leadership skills and a track record of fostering collaboration and delivering impactful results.
