Role-
We have an opening for Spatial Computing Research engineering. Candidate will be responsible for:
Conduct R&D in the areas of spatial computing, multi-modal AI, computer vision, AR/VR, 3D animation, and other technical areas related to XR and communication.
Advanced research targeted for publication and presence in world leading conferences, such as CVPR and Siggraph.
Industrial and academic collaboration, and professional community involvement. Expand community influence.
Hands on research, and lead interns for joint research publication.
Collaborate with other researchers and scientists internally and externally for joint technology advancement Design and implement demonstration systems; and create new features, from a technical specification or a reference implementation.
Prototype, implement, and design evaluation and demonstration algorithms.
Support other internal research activities.
Skills:
Proven experience in academic research and publication Strong knowledge in software development in related fields with hands-on experiences Proficient in working programming languages.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in machine learning algorithms, ARVR system, computer graphic, computer vision, or related areas Experience in 3D human ML models a plus, particularly the experience with SMPL, HaMer, and SAM.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn new technologies
Education:
MS & PhD in Computer Science, EE, or related fields
